Elders Win Australian Quarantine Regional Award

Elders have recently been named the Regional Winner of the Australian Quarantine Awards which
recognise those individuals, groups, or companies who have made an outstanding contribution to maintaining Australia’s quarantine integrity.

During an awards ceremony held at the AQIS Headquarters in Brisbane, Elders were selected as the winner among 11 other nominees for the prestigious award.

Receiving the award for Elders were Director and Head of Elders K9 Division Mr John Elder, and company Managing Director Mr Chris Elder.

"Elders thoroughly enjoy the close working relationship we have with AQIS [Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service]," said John Elder. "Winning the Regional Award is just the icing on the cake".

Elders are now in the running to win the overall National Quarantine Award to be announced Tuesday 11 December 2007 at Parliament House, Canberra.
