Elders Pest Control, in the provision of its pest
management services, is committed to the development
of a safety culture and to the provision of safe and
healthy working conditions to employees, as well as
others who may be affected by our activities.
In particular our company aims:
o To provide and maintain safe and healthy conditions,
and Occupational Health and Safety legislation and
regulatory requirements which define the minimum level
of achievement.
o To establish measurable objectives and targets to
ensure continued improvement aimed at elimination
of work-related injury and illness.
o To maintain a constant and continuing interest in
health and safety matters.
Accident prevention and safe working practices are
essential to both good management and good workmanship,
requiring full co-operation between all concerned.
Every employee, regardless of position, has an obligation
upon them to take reasonable care for the health and
safety of themselves and others and to co-operate
with the employer or other authorised persons in the
carrying out of their role.
The Management Team is ultimately responsible and
accountable for achieving the objectives of the Occupational
Health and Safety Policy and shall do so in consultation
with the OH&S Officer.
This OHS Policy reflects the requirements of the AS
4801, is communicated to all employees, available
to interested parties and reviewed on a regular basis
to ensure continuing relevance.
