Occupational Health and Safety Policy Statement

Elders Pest Control, in the provision of its pest management services, is committed to the development of a safety culture and to the provision of safe and healthy working conditions to employees, as well as others who may be affected by our activities.

In particular our company aims:

1. To provide and maintain safe and healthy conditions, and Occupational Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements which define the minimum level of achievement.

2. To establish measurable objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement aimed at elimination of work-related injury and illness.

3. To maintain a constant and continuing interest in health and safety matters.

Accident prevention and safe working practices are essential to both good management and good workmanship, requiring full co-operation between all concerned.

Every employee, regardless of position, has an obligation upon them to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others and to co-operate with the employer or other authorised persons in the carrying out of their role.

The Management Team is ultimately responsible and accountable for achieving the objectives of the Occupational Health and Safety Policy and shall do so in consultation with the OH&S Officer.

This OHS Policy reflects the requirements of the AS 4801, is communicated to all employees, available to interested parties and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure continuing relevance.
